Noodlesoft introduces Hazel 5.1

Noodlesoft, LLC has released Hazel 5.1, a major update to its popular housekeeping utility for macOS. Keep your files off the desktop and put them where they belong. Hazel watches whatever folders you tell it to, automatically organizing your files according to the rules you create. With Hazel's powerful rule engine, anyone can easily create workflows that keep files organized. Hazel also features options for managing the Trash and includes an intuitive application uninstaller.

Hazel 5.1 adds numerous features, improvements and fixes. Version 5.1 provides support for Apple's most recent update to macOS, Monterey. Beyond compatibility fixes, Hazel allows users to run workflows they create in Shortcuts from rules. Users can now leverage the new power of Shortcuts driven by Hazel's powerful rule engine. This release is also scriptable via AppleScript or JavaScript. Users can now start or stop Hazel, pause or resume folders or enable or disable individual rules via script.
