Kaleidoscope 2.4 Released Offering Xcode Debugger Integration

Letter Opener GmbH has released Kaleidoscope 2.4 for macOS, an important update to the company's premier Mac app to spot differences in text or graphics files or folder hierarchies. Kaleidoscope is an integral part of the creative and professional process. Use it to unravel the complexity between multiple versions of a text file, image, or folder. You can easily compare different text files, images, and folders on your Mac and iPad. On macOS, you can also review and merge changes.

Version 2.4 brings Xcode Debugger Integration, which allows developers to compare debug text and image output, enabling them to iterate over common development tasks quickly. It allows sending any debugger output from Xcode, text or graphics, to Kaleidoscope for visual comparison. The driving force behind this is the ksdiff command-line tool, which gained two great new features as part of the process. The new version is a free update for all existing version 2 customers. The 14-day free trial period has been reset for version 2.4. Users who tested Kaleidoscope in the past can give the new version a try. Kaleidoscope 2.4 is $69.99 and can be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
